Welcome to Japan Reiki Studio. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services and products, including memberships, events, and energy work sessions.
General Terms
Acceptance of Terms
- By purchasing services or products from Japan Reiki Studio, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all purchases, bookings, and interactions with our studio.
Amendments
- We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Services and Products
Energy Work Consent and Release Statement
By booking an energy work session, you agree to the following:
- Reiki is a meditative energetic technique aimed at reducing stress and promoting relaxation.
- Practitioners do not diagnose, prescribe, or perform medical treatments and recommend consulting a licensed physician for any physical or psychological ailments.
- In-person sessions may involve light touch, which you consent to by booking a session.
- Exemption of Liability The practitioner is not liable for any personal injury, harm, or outcome arising from the session. The client accepts full responsibility for their participation.
Memberships and Events
Membership Cancellation
- Members can cancel their membership at any time. Details on access upon cancellation are outlined in the membership FAQs.
- Refunds are not available for unused portions of the billing cycle unless otherwise specified.
7-Day Free Trial
- When a free trial is offered for new members it will automatically convert to a paid membership unless canceled before the trial ends.
Event Participation
- Japan Reiki Studio reserves the right to reschedule or cancel events with notice. Refunds for canceled events will be processed promptly.
Wellness Reiki Circle - Key Terms (WRC)
Applies to: Single, Flexible 6-Session Pass, Full Series Pass (10).
Booking: Singles & 6-Pass must RSVP each date via the WRC calendar. Full Series: no RSVP needed for published series dates.
Credits: One credit is deducted at booking (Singles/6-Pass). If you cancel via your link ≥ 1 hour before start, the credit auto-returns. Within 1 hour or no-shows: credit used.
Validity: 6-Pass credits valid 12 months from purchase. Full Series covers the listed dates and doesn’t roll over.
Access: Online via Zoom; link is for the registered participant only.
Transfers: Passes/credits are for the named participant and aren’t transferable or shareable.
Refunds:
Refunds: All WRC purchases are non-refundable (Single, 6-Pass, Full Series). For Singles/6-Pass, credits may be returned per the 1-hour cancellation rule (no cash refunds). Full Series is non-refundable and unused sessions don’t roll over. If we cancel a date, any deducted credit is returned (or a make-up is offered).
Note: For Wellness Reiki Circle bookings, the WRC Key Terms above supersede the general session policy.
Cancellations and Refunds
Session Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before an appointment are subject to a $25 processing fee.
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance via email ([email protected]) or the provided link will not incur a fee.
- Exceptions for unforeseen circumstances will be considered individually.
Product Sales, Returns & Refunds
Digital Products
- All digital products, downloadable content, online courses, guided meditations, and PDF materials are non-refundable once access has been granted or the product has been downloaded.
Physical Products & Gift Sets
Japan Reiki Studio offers physical products including, but not limited to:
- MeFirst Oracle Cards
- “A Letter from the Universe” mailings
- Mother’s Day Gift Sets
- Seasonal or personalized gift offerings
- Crystal or meditation tools
All physical product sales are final and non-refundable.
Due to the personal, energetic, and customized nature of these items, we do not accept returns or provide refunds once an order has been placed.
Personalized & Made-to-Order Items
Offerings such as “A Letter from the Universe” and certain gift sets are prepared specifically for the named recipient. Because these items are personalized and energetically created:
– Orders cannot be cancelled once preparation has begun.
– Content is created at the studio’s discretion and may not be revised based on personal preference.
– No refunds will be issued based on subjective dissatisfaction.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If a physical product arrives damaged or incorrect, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery by email at [email protected] and provide:
– Order number
– Description of the issue
– Clear photos of the item and packaging
After review, Japan Reiki Studio may, at its sole discretion:
– Provide a replacement of the same item, or
– Offer store credit
We do not guarantee replacements for damage caused by misuse, normal wear, or failure to follow care instructions.
Shipping & Delivery
– Shipping timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.
– Japan Reiki Studio is not responsible for postal delays, customs processing times, lost packages once marked as delivered, or incorrect addresses provided at checkout.
- Risk of loss transfers to the purchaser once the package has been handed over to the shipping carrier.
– International orders may be subject to customs duties or taxes, which are the responsibility of the recipient.
By completing a purchase, you agree not to initiate a chargeback without first contacting Japan Reiki Studio to attempt resolution in good faith.
Liability
Service Disclaimer
- Services and sessions are provided as-is and are intended for relaxation and stress relief.
- Results may vary. Japan Reiki Studio is not responsible for outcomes that are inconsistent with the client’s expectations.
Product Disclaimer
- Physical and digital products offered by Japan Reiki Studio are intended for personal reflection, spiritual exploration, and wellness support only.
- They are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
- Use of any product is at the purchaser’s own discretion and responsibility.
Third-Party Platforms
- Any technical issues arising from third-party platforms (e.g., payment processors, scheduling software) should be directed to the respective provider.
Privacy and Data Usage
- Personal information collected during booking or membership registration is used solely for service delivery and communication.
- Data Security Japan Reiki Studio takes appropriate measures to protect your data. Refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.
